The Cabiri is an International Past Potentate's Association. Each Shrine Temple has its own Chapter and Aladdins Chapter Number 84 was chartered December 6, 1955. At present there are 185 Cabiri Chapters with a total membership of about 3000. The purpose of the Order is: To promote good fellowship among past Potentates and stimulate an active interest in all Shrine activities and the Shriners Hospitals. To Establish headquarters at all Imperial Council Sessions and Regional Sessions, where Past Potentates may assemble, shake the sand from their sandals and renew old acquaintances. To acquaint new Past Potentate's with the ancient and abstruse mysteries of the Cabiri. To hold meetings, open the well of Zem-Zem and enjoy the wonderful sociability of the Shrine. It is definitely not a political group. Our Motto is: "We are here to help - Just ask us."
