As an elected officer of the Center, the Recorder is responsible for the Fraternal Activities of the Center as provided for in the By-Laws of the Imperial Council of The Shrine of North America and the By-Laws of Aladdin Center.

Inquiries concerning the By-Laws of the Imperial Council General Order #1, or Aladdin Center, or inquiries about an individual Nobles membership status should be directed to the Recorder. New Membership Petitions, Petitions for Restoration, Petitions for Affiliation, Petitions for Association and request for Demit or Dues Remission are to be submitted to the Recorder.

The Recorder is responsible for maintaining the membership records and minutes of the Center and providing notice of meetings of the Center to the Nobility.
